Germany
Since its foundation in 1954, our group of companies has been based in Herkenrath (Bergisch Gladbach) near Cologne. This main site is the location of our central administration, Anton Clemens GmbH & Co. KG, Anton Clemens Montage GmbH, and Anton Clemens Automotive GmbH.
Czechia
Based in the Czech city of Plzeň, Anton Clemens s.r.o. specializes in building assemblies and injection molding.
History
A story of innovation and reliability
1954 is the year in which Germany wins the World Cup for the first time. It also marks the beginning of our family-run company in the Bergisches Land region. Over the course of decades, we have become one of the leading providers of injection-molded articles. And our medium-sized company has always been shaped by the family – right down to the third generation today.
1954
Anton Clemens founds the company with a hand machine.
1960
Heribert Clemens becomes a partner with equal rights.
1977
The workshop becomes too small. The decision is made to build a new factory.
1988
The new location in Braunsberg is also swiftly expanded.
2003
Walter Clemens becomes a co-partner in the family-owned and family-run company.
2005
Operations are launched at a new shipping and warehousing building.
2008
anton clemens is founded in Plzeň.
2023
Construction of a state-of-the-art injection molding hall with an extended machine pool in Czechia.
